Double award triumph for Berghaus
Outdoor brand Berghaus is celebrating two industry awards. It picked up an ISPO Award and, for the first time, has also won an Apex Award from performance textiles developer and producer Polartec.
It earned both accolades for products in a new version of its Extrem collection.
A jacket called MTN Guide Hyper Alpha (pictured) secured an ISPO Award. The product brings together two high-performance fabrics: proprietary breathable fabric Hydroshell Elite and Polartec’s breathable puffy fabric, Alpha.
Another product in the new Extrem collection, the MTN Guide MW Hoody featured among the winners of the 2022 Polartec Apex Awards.
Berghaus brand director, Charlie Pym, said the two awards represented “a great vindication” of the work that the brand carried out in developing and launching the new Extrem range.
