Accreditation for Nilit product

14/03/2023

Nylon 6.6 producer Nilit has achieved accreditation from the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification Plus (ISCC+) system for its primary facility for producing its Sensil By Nature nylon 6.6 fibres.

This factory is in Israel, where Nilit has its headquarters. The company said accreditation for other facilities around the world would follow soon.

The ISCC+ system is a globally applicable, independent sustainability certification programme that confirms the controlled use of renewable feedstocks throughout the supply chain. It has verified the origin of the renewable feedstocks in Sensil By Nature.

Launched in April 2022, Sensil By Nature is the first nylon 6.6 for apparel made by replacing a portion of the yarn’s raw materials derived from fossil fuel with renewable bio-gas feedstock.
