New chief executive for VF Corporation

VF Corporation, the parent group of The North Face, Timberland, Icebreaker, Altra Running, Jansport, Vans and other brands, has announced that Bracken Darrell will be its new chief executive.
Mr Darrell will take up the role on July 17, moving from software developer Logitech International, where he has been chief executive since 2013.
He will replace Steve Rendle at VF Corporation; Mr Rendle stepped down at the end of 2022.
“Like millions of people around the world, I love VF’s iconic brands,” Bracken Darrell said. “I’m impressed by this organisation’s sustained ability to keep its portfolio of brands at the forefront of culture. I look forward to working closely with the board, leadership team and the talented associates across VF to build on the initiatives under way to strengthen business performance and drive strong and sustainable growth. I can’t wait to get to work.”
