H1 revenues up by 9% for H&M

Apparel group H&M has reported revenues of around €9.5 billion for the first half of its current business year, the six-month period ending May 31, 2023. This figure represents an increase of 9% year on year.
Chief executive, Helena Helmersson, said sales in many markets had increased “despite reduced purchasing power and unfavourable weather conditions compared to last year”.
She said external factors that have affected H&M’s purchasing were improving, with work the group has done in recent years on an efficiency programme starting to bear fruit.
