Performance fabrics developer Polartec has appointed Sergi Pérez as its new sales manager for Europe.

With immediate effect, Mr Pérez will take responsibility for the company’s sales team of five people in the European market. Polartec described him as having a strong textile background. He previously worked in senior commercial roles for IBQ and Nextil Group in Spain.

Polartec managing director, Eric Yung, said that the European market is a big focus for Polartec and that strengthening its European team would be instrumental to its success. He commented: “We are confident that Sergi’s strong background in textiles will enable us to maximise the market’s potential. We look forward to working with him.”
