Artilect continues to tread PFAS-free, eco-friendlier path
US outdoor brand Artilect, based in Colorado, has debuted new performance shell Grandview 3L, a fully laminated jacket with a 30,000-millimetre waterproofing rating.

Use of the company’s High and Dry breathable membrane technology, free from per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), combined with Artilect’s own “super-hydrophobic” Empel durable water repellency (DWR) treatment, means it has both Oeko-Tex and Bluesign approval.

The three-layer jacket’s outer is made from 100% recycled polyester ripstop, with a similarly recycled jersey backer. Other notable features include fully taped seams, a snow helmet-compatible hood and armpit zips for “on-the-go ventilation”.
