Fully recycled N850 FishTale swim fabric lands at Vitamin A
High-end swimwear label Vitamin A has launched ReLux, a line of bikinis and one-piece suits knit from N850 FishTale following the 100% recycled fabric’s debut at trade show Interfilière Paris last July.
The new stretch material is blended from 80% regen Ocean, a 100% post-consumer nylon upcycled from waste fishing nets and manufactured to Global Recycled Standard by South Korean fibre producer Hyosung, and 20% recycled regen elastane.
It is warp-knitted by Italian-owned Hung Yen Knitting & Dyeing in Vietnam.
Vitamin A swimwear is made exclusively from recycled fabrics in California, where the brand is headquartered.
Hyosung US marketing manager, Laura Nilo, the company's West Coast lead, described the label as an ideal partner for N850 FishTale's commercialisation.
