Full-year revenue down for Under Armour despite international growth
Sports group Under Armour has reported full-year revenues of $5.7 billion for the 12 months ending March 31. This represents a decline of 3% year on year.
Revenues in its main market, North America, fell by 8.3% to reach $3.5 billion, but it achieved increases in Europe, Asia and Latin America.
Sales in Europe were up by 9% to reach almost $1.1 billion. Revenues in Asia were $873 million, while in Latin America the figure was just under $230 million, growth of 5.8% and 7.6% respectively.
Under Armour brought in $3.8 billion in apparel sales, with footwear revenues reaching just under $1.4 billion, declines of 2.1% and 4.9% respectively.
