Independent endorsement for Isbjörn snowsuit
Swedish consumer advice provider Bäst-i-Test (Best in Test) has picked out the Penguin Snowsuit from outdoor brand Isbjörn as the best pick in its premium children’s clothing category.
This is the eleventh time in succession that the information provider, which tests products and shares the details online with the public, has earmarked the Penguin suit as a good choice for parents.
On picking the product out this time, and using input from parents, teachers and children themselves, it said the suit’s high levels of waterproofness, comfort and durability set it apart.
Materials that contribute to this include 100% recycled PrimaLoft insulation for thermal performance without bulk and fluorocarbon-free Bionic Finish Eco for water-repellency.
Children who wear the suit remain warm, dry and protected in cold weather and are able to enjoy playing outdoors for longer in snowy conditions.
Parents particularly praised the product’s durability, saying that one snowsuit can be passed to younger siblings or friends and have many wearers. As a result, the Penguin’s value on the second-hand market continues to rise, according to Isbjörn.
Commenting on the recognition from Bäst-i-Test, the brand’s founder and chief executive, Maria Frykman, said: “Once again our highly durable and abrasion-resistant Penguin Snowsuit is recognised for its unparalleled performance during winter months. This prestigious, independent endorsement is testament to Penguin’s performance and longevity. It has become one of the most sought-after winter products for children, as parents recognise its lasting worth.”
