Cordura readies for FFF

“Our ‘What’s New’ Innovation Spotlight was a hit last show, and is growing expansively, with nearly 75% more fabrics to highlight than before,” said Cindy McNaull, business development director for Cordura.
Some 115 new certified references will be presented at the fabric fair. These cover all of the brand’s product categories, such as Combat Wool nylon/wool blends, ultra lightweight references, including one that weighs less than 25 gsm, fabrics with natural fibre looks (Naturalle) or made from recycled nylon yarns (re/cor RN66). The brand’s booth will showcase recent developments from its 15 mill partners.
This summer, Invista announced having completed the expansion of its polyamide 6.6 production plant in Shanghai, doubling its capacity to 400,000 tonnes yearly, an investment of $240 million.
