Italian premium sportswear label has introduced a striking aluminium coated jacket made from two layers of Cordura organza. Using a process known as Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), the metal in a solid state is vaporised and deposited as a nanometric film to create a shimmering surface, says the company, which was fully acquired by Moncler in 2021. The jacket is lined with down certified Responsible Down Standard (RDS).

In 2023, Stone Island brought in revenues of €411 million, up from €401 million the year before. Moncler’s initial acquisition deal valued the brand founded by Massimo Osti in 1982 and owned by Carlo Rivetti since 1993 at over €1 billion.
