New industrial partnership for Ambercycle

Ambercycle, the maker of cycora, a polyester ‘regenerated’ from end-of-life textiles, has formed a new industrial partnership with Zhejiang Huilong New Materials. Huilong specialises in the production of dope-dyed polyester yarn, which leads to reduced energy, water and pollution in dyeing processes.

This collaboration marks a new step in the Los Angeles-based company’s quest to accelerate adoption of its molecular-recycled polyester.

“Working with Huilong will allow us to significantly expand our impact, enabling us to meet the growing demand for circular materials in the global fashion industry,” stated Shay Sethi, co-founder and CEO of Ambercycle.
