New management team for Carbios
French bio-recycling specialist Carbios has announced the appointment of a new management team, effective immediately. Following the announcement late last year of the resignation of company co-founder Dr Philippe Pouletty, Isabelle Parize, who is CEO of Delsey, will take over as company chairwoman.

Vincent Kamel has been named CEO, replacing Emmanuel Ladent. Mr Kamel has extended experience in the polymer and chemical industries, said Carbios, having held management positions at Rhône-Poulenc, Rhodia and Solvay, notably as general manager of Solvay’s polyamide division. He has been involved in the development of Carbios since 2021 as a member of its board of directors, and as advisor to the company’s executive team since last December. In his new position, he is tasked with securing the additional financing needed to build the PET recycling facility in Longlaville, which has been put on hold.
