Third Ski Industry Climate Summit to take place in January
The third edition of the Ski Industry Climate Summit will take place in Bolzano, northern Italy, from January 13–15, 2026, running alongside an event called the Pro Winter Show.
Ski brand Atomic, non-profit organisation Protect Our Winters Europe (POW) and ‘collaboration platform’ the Winter Sports Sustainability Network (WSN) will be the co-hosts of the Ski Industry Climate Summit, which first ran in 2023.
Topics the 2026 event will seek to cover include eco-design, recycling, lifecycle assessment, decarbonisation, traceability and compliance.
“As climate change continues to challenge winter sports, the industry’s commitment to transformative action has never been stronger,” these groups said. “The winter sports community has the responsibility and the potential to lead on climate action. Brands, resorts, companies and organisations are striving to minimise their environmental impact and undertake the essential changes that climate science demands.”
