Yagi brings high-tech solutions to Ispo

27/11/2025
Yagi & Co., a Japanese company specialising in innovative performance fabrics, will be exhibiting at Ispo in Munich for the first time. The company, with sales of ¥83.3 billion (or €450 million) will be highlighting three high-tech ranges at the show, which opens this Sunday, November 30, 2025.

Lavatech fabrics are enhanced with an additive derived from crushed lava rocks that enable the textile to reflect far infrared radiation and thus provide various benefits from warmth to activated blood flow. Yagi claims that the volcanic mineral comes from Mount Fuji.

PlaX is a novel biobased synthetic fibre (PLA) that has been developed by Japanese start-up Bioworks, which Yagi will also be presenting. It offers brands a plant-based next-generation synthetic fibre.

Coldveil is a novel polyamide fibre that generates a feeling of coolness due to the incorporation of titanium dioxide, the company said. Fabrics made from Coldveil are said to combine heat-shielding and heat-absorbing properties.
