LifeLabs welcomes new head of innovation and sustainability

China-based LifeLabs has appointed Jordi Beneyto-Ferre as its new head of textile innovation and sustainability. The company, which has recently modified its business model from B2C to B2B, develops two innovative technologies, WarmLife and CoolLife. The two won ispo awards last year. 

In the course of his career, Mr Beneyto-Ferre has held leadership positions in materials and innovation at Smartwool and Icebreaker, two VF Corp brands, as well as at Puma and adidas. 

“My focus is to maximise the performance of these fabrics while embedding a sustainability-first perspective into every aspect of innovation,” he commented.
