Alchemie partners with Acatel
UK-based Alchemie Technology, developer of novel near waterless dyeing technologies, has announced the launch of a collaboration with Portuguese textile manufacturer Acatel to validate and optimise the processes on knitted cellulosic-fibre based fabrics. 

An Endeavour machine will be set up in the Acatel Innovation Hub and tests will be conducted on cellulosic fabrics made from cotton, linen, viscose and hemp as well as in blends with wool. Alchemie’s precision jet dyeing has up till now primarily been used to dye synthetic textiles. 

The two partners, along with DMIX, will be exhibiting at Première Vision (Feb 3 to 5) in hall 6, at booth 6N18.

Acatel will be highlighting four different innovation platforms at the show. In addition to precision jet-dyeing with Alchemie Technology, it will present novel solutions using natural dyes and pigments, fossil-free processes, and a digital colour workflow process with DMIx.
