Busy start to Intertextile Shanghai
The spring 2026 edition of Intertextile Shanghai opened on March 11, with the halls at the National Exhibition and Convention Centre busy on the first morning.
More than 3,000 exhibitors from 25 countries had collections of fibres, fabrics, fillers and other materials on show for brands to consider for their spring-summer 2027 collections.
Products for sports and outdoor apparel were on show in the Functional Wear and Sportswear Fabrics segments of the show, as well as being widely represented in the International Zone and Salon Europe sections.
Products of independently verified interest to sustainability-conscious buyers were on display in the Econogy Hub, while the event’s Functional Lab component, which is dedicated to advanced, high-performance and smart textiles, was 30% bigger than at the last edition of Intertextile Shanghai.
