Kudos for Jane Palmer
Jane Palmer, founder of Nature Coatings, has been named one of Inc.’s Female Founders 500 for 2026.
“When I founded Nature Coatings, my goal was to prove that we don’t have to jeopardize our health or our planet just to get the colour black. This recognition validates our mission to decarbonise colour and proves that sustainable, non-toxic innovations can successfully scale to meet the demands of massive global industries,” said the CEO of Nature Coatings who is “incredibly honoured to be recognized by Inc. alongside such a powerhouse group of women”.
Since launching in 2017, Nature Coatings’ BioBlack has been used in textiles and apparel, cosmetics and, recently, in asphalt sealants used to repair roadways.
Other female founders named this year include Ariana Ferwerda and Kiley McKinnon of outdoor brand Halfdays, Krissy Cela of Oner Active, Lindsey Carter of Set Active, Lynne O’Brien of Line in the Sand and Kim Kardashian for Skims.
