Pyratex was awarded the Sustainability and Innovation prize by the Fundación Academia de la Moda Española (FAME) last week. The country’s fashion authority distinguished the Madrid-based textile innovator’s work in setting up Pyratex solea, a fully traceable supply chain for cotton grown in Spain and made into yarns and fabrics in Spain and Portugal.
This is the third award ceremony organised by FAME with RTVE, the national TV broadcaster. An audience of 900 attended the event held last week.
