Ortovox MTB range given Microban treatment
German outdoor brand Ortovox has chosen Microban as the supplier of an odour-capturing technology for its first mountain bike collection. The new range is made in 100% textile-to-textile recycled polyester.
“Because this new collection features our first synthetic T-shirts made without wool, finding a reliable, high-performance odour control solution was critical,” commented Ortovox senior product manager Christian Morgenroth. “We selected Microban because its technology integrates seamlessly into our overall product concept, allowing riders to keep their gear fresher for longer.”
The fabric is treated with Microban’s Scentry Revive odour-capture finish, which is said to withstand up to 50 home launderings.
