Q1 results down 4% for Nike

Sports group Nike has reported revenues of $11.2 billion for the first quarter of its current financial year, the three-month period ending August 31, 2026. This is down by 4% on the same quarter a year earlier. 

The Nike brand contributed $11 billion to the total, also down by 4% year on year. Converse’s contribution was $263 million. In Converse’s case, the decline was 28% year on year. 

Chief finance officer, Dave Denton, said the first-quarter results were “consistent with our expectations”. He said the company remained focused on “strengthening the health of our product portfolio, improving productivity and allocating resources with discipline”.
