Prime Source receives global support

Launched as a networking event, comprising a senior-level forum and a trade show, for international apparel sourcing, Prime Source will be held at the AsiaWorld-Expo, in Hong Kong, from March 29-31, 2006. APLF, the show’s organiser, said that the event has already secured the support of important trade associations, industry leaders and apparel manufacturing countries, including the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA), US Association of Importers of Textile & Apparel (USA-ITA), Foreign Trade Association (FTA). It is also supported by Hong Kong Textile Council (HKTC), Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA).

The organiser has also received enthusiastic response from national groups like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Philippines, Taiwan, Mainland China, Turkey and the USA concerning the show. "Manufacturers from these regions welcome the exclusive chance provided by Prime Source to meet with senior executives of worldwide apparel brand owners, retailers and importers, and with ministerial-level government representatives and policy makers from apparel exporting and importing countries, as well as leading members of supporting industries such as banking, logistics and technology." commented Michael Duck, senior vice president of APLF Ltd, the event organiser.
