RFID technologies from Avery Dennison Printer Systems, including Gen 2-capable Avery Dennison 6400 Series RFID systems, were recently provided to academic researchers at the University of Arkansas’ RFID Research Centre in Fayetteville. The 7,800-square-foot centre studies the application of RFID (radiofrequency ID) and other wireless technologies throughout the retail supply chain.

Avery Dennison Printer Systems is an official laboratory sponsor. The systems it has provided will find application in the centre’s supply chain in a box,” a fully operational supply chain test rig designed for academic study and analysis.
