Burlington Coat Factory Warehouse Corporation has reported positive results for the second quarter ended November 26, 2005 and for the five weeks ended December 31, 2005.

For the three months ended November 26, 2005, income from continuing operations was $45.4 million. This compares with income from continuing operations of $41.5 million for the corresponding period ended November 27, 2004.

Sales for three months ended November 26, 2005 were $945.4 million compared with sales of $872 million during the corresponding period in 2004. Comparative store sales for the quarter increased 5.3%. Total sales for the quarter increased 8.4% over the comparative quarter of the prior fiscal year.

Sales for the six months ended November 26, 2005 were $1.60 billion compared with sales of $1.45 billion during the corresponding period ended November 27, 2004. Comparative store sales for the six months increased 6.8%. Total sales for the comparative six months increased 10.4% over the comparative six months of the prior fiscal year.

Burlington Coat Factory operates 367 stores in 42 US states.
