Schoeller Switzerland has unveiled a new waterproof, moisture and temperature balancing system, c-change, in its summer 2007 range, which has been added to many new outdoor styles.

Used in extremely lightweight textiles it is said to provide a second skin” feeling with great comfort and protection. Schoeller has also improved performance through its new stretch and non-elastic 3-layer fabrics with soft mesh liner for highly technical mountaineering gear and outdoor wear. These are comparably lighter weight (140-200 g/sq.m.) and are said to offer greater weather protection as thanks to the new c-change membrane, they adjust to the changing weather conditions, keeping the body pleasantly comfortable. Extensive elasticity also provides greater freedom of movement.
