The Warnaco Group, Inc. has announced that Gaetano Sallorenzo will join the company as president and CEO of Calvin Klein Jeans and Sportswear for Europe and Asia, beginning late January 2006. He will report to Frank Tworecke, Warnaco's Group President, Sportswear, and will be based in Florence, Italy.

As announced on December 20, 2005, Warnaco has entered into a definitive

agreement to acquire the licences and related assets of the wholesale and retail businesses of Calvin Klein jeanswear and accessories in Europe and Asia and the CK Calvin Klein "bridge" sportswear and accessories lines in Europe. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2006.

Mr Sallorenzo most recently served as a president of Giorgio Armani, North America, where he was responsible for the retail and wholesale businesses of all the Giorgio Armani brands. Prior to that, he was President of the Benetton Group, based in Treviso, Italy.
