Under Armour, Inc., a US developer, marketer and distributor of branded performance products, has announced the opening of its European headquarters in Amsterdam and the promotion of one of the company's partners, Ryan Wood, to president of international.

Under Armour manufactures a line of moisture wicking microfibre apparel that pulls perspiration away from the skin to keep athletes cool, dry and light throughout the course of a game, practice or workout.

The company is an official supplier of performance apparel to the National Hockey League, the US Ski Team, USA Rugby, the National Lacrosse League, and Major League Lacrosse.
