Netherlands-based manufacturer of high-tenacity polyester yarns Diolen Industrial Fibers is upgrading machinery and expanding capacity of its production facility in Emmen. After earlier investments in three machines in 2003 and 2004, a fourth was recently started up successfully and approval has been given for a fifth machine.

These investments expand production capacity at the plant in Emmen by 5,000 tons of polyester yarn. Emmen produces 40,000 tons of yarn annually.

The fifth machine is expected to go into operation in June 2006.
