AdvanSA will unveil several new developments of its Coolmax microfibre at ispo at the end of January. With Coolmax micro, the company has developed a process to combine Coolmax micro polyester with elastane to give excellent stretch and colour fastness. This new development is said to complete the range of yarn counts existing for Coolmax.

Another new innovation is Coolmax Selective functionality, which is said to combine hydrophobic and hydrophilic properties together. A process of fibre surface modification has been developed so that the outside of the fabric has water and oil repellency, whilst inside it has the moisture management of Coolmax, offering comfort and well being.
