E47 to launch new anti-odour, antimicrobial fabrics at OR

E47 Technologies will launch new anti-odour and antimicrobial performance fabrics at Outdoor Retailer Winter Market on January 28-31. The new E47 fabrics are said to offer permanent anti-odour properties and be ideally suited for performance apparel, footwear, sporting goods and industrial products such as helmets, gloves, and uniforms.
E47’s anti-odour performance is derived from SmartSilver, a nanoscale-engineered additive that permanently bonds to fibres without altering their native characteristics. The result is a line of fabrics and fibres that offer permanent anti-odour properties at less than half the cost of other effective silver-based offerings.
Anti-odour fabrics have previously been either too expensive or ineffective,” said JT Griffin, president and CEO, E47.
