The Rossignol Group has reached an agreement to transfer its Hammer and Hot snowboards brands to Swiss company Sevysa Sport SA.

According to a statement, the decision follows Rossignol’s strategy to focus its snowboard activities on the Rossignol, Roxy, Quiksilver, Gnu and Libetch brand names.

Rossignol intends to remain a production subcontractor for Sevysa Sport for the two transferred brands, and will also continue sales and distribution in the French market until March 31, 2006.
