Concept III launches on-line ‘Fabric Library’
Developed with the help of TEXbase, a software development company that specialises in product data and information management and resources planning specifically for the textile and apparel industries, Concept III Textiles, a New Jersey-based textile resource and garment production service has unveiled a new ‘Fabric Library’ database on its revised website. The library will catalogue both current autumn 2006 fabrics - now in production - and new spring 2007 prototypes as they are developed.
Fabrics that go forward from a season will remain in the library, while new ones will be added as they are created and sampled.
The new Fabric Library will allow companies’ customers - brand manufacturers and private label retailers who create their own textile-based products - to search the database by construction, fibre, weight and technical or visual features.
