Branded work and outdoor footwear manufacturer LaCrosse Footwear, Inc. has introduced a new patent-pending EXO platform under its Danner brand.

EXO offers a new technology that combines Danner's durability with the performance of an athletic shoe. Its design replaces the conventional shank system with an ultra-light exoskeleton chassis. The result is said to be a superior boot platform that provides
more support, comfort and heel-to-toe flexibility, while reducing weight and foot fatigue.

Danner's EXO platform is currently featured in the uniform category on the Telson GTX and will be introduced into the hunting category in July 2006 in the Kestrel GTX Series.
