Adidas unveils modular soccer boot: +F50 TUNIT
Adidas has launched what is said to be the first ever modular soccer boot, the +F50 TUNIT. This new boot concept allows players to customise, adapt and tune their boots to any weather, any pitch and even their own personal style. It is constructed from three interchangeable components: the upper, the chassis and the studs. Each component comes in a variety of styles and functions and each player can build and tune their boots by mixing and matching the components of their choice.
Different options for the boot include a lightweight chassis which provides reduced weight through less material usage; a comfort chassis for additional comfort, cushioning and shock absorption at high pressure points, such as the heel and the forefoot ball area; the orthopaedic chassis which features reductions in the sock liner to allow the usage of personal orthopaedic in-socks.
