Forzani may close Athletes World outlets

Canadian sporting goods retailer Forzani Group Ltd. has confirmed its intention to buy the Athletes World chain. However, contrary to original reports, the company may now close 37 of the Toronto-based retailer’s stores.
Chief operating officer, Bill Gregson, says that underperforming stores will be closed, while 100 will remain open.
The deal is estimated to be worth $21.5 million.
