Schoeller FTC adds ‘clever’ coatings

Swiss-Taiwanese joint venture Schoeller FTC has enhanced its current fabric collection by adding coatings that provide different looks or additional functionality through technology such as c_change for weatherproofing, NanoSphere for repelling dirt, and 3XDRY for water and stain repellency.
Seasonal highlights are coated polyester or polyamide jacket qualities with a matte, dry, sometimes even chalky feel on a brown fabric with rubber finish and small ribbed structure.
Contrasting with these are textiles with a waxy, wet look—for example a golden-coloured twill—which are reminiscent of lacquer or leather.
