A cap worn by legendary Australian cricketer Sir Donald Bradman during a tour of England in 1948 is the star item in an auction of sporting memorabilia that will take place in Melbourne on December 15
Leski Auctions has put a pre-sale estimate of AUD$750,000, but has said early interest could see it top $1 million (around US$ 650,000) when bidding starts. The lot includes correspondence from the famous cricketer testifying that the cap is genuine. =
