Recycling with style

Samsonite has added a new line, Terrea, to its OutLab performance outdoor travel bag range.
The company has described the addition as an eco-friendly line that embraces simplicity and natural beauty, and combines technical know-how with stylish design. The materials and components used are recycled or reclaimed; bags in this Terrea collection contain a minimum of 86% recycled materials, with some bags containing as much as 95%.
All fabrics used in the bags are 100% recycled. Other environment-friendly features include: recycled foam padding throughout all back panels, handles, and shoulder straps, recycled buckles and clips, recycled wheel housings and studs, pull handles with injected wood, use of natural coconut fibre in shoulder straps, and backpack straps cut directly out of the back panels to use even less material.
The Terrea line consists of a number of products including backpack, flight bag, wheeled duffle, messenger bag and tote.
