The organisers of the Outdoor Retailer exhibition in Salt Lake City have announced that two supporting events, the Winter Market Fashion Show and Winter Market Industry Party, will take place on the first day of the show, January 22, 2009, from 6-8 pm at the Grand Ballroom in the Salt Palace Convention Center.
The fashion show will highlight some of the latest designs in outdoor recreation technical, casual, and endurance apparel, and offers exhibiting companies a chance to bring their products to life for attending buyers and media.
"The new format of the OR Winter Market Fashion Show puts a spotlight on outdoor fashion, textile and accessory innovations that help buyers be on point with the next season's function/fashion interface," said Kenji Haroutunian, Outdoor Retailer show director. "Hosting the fashion show in conjunction with the industry party helps us provide exhibitors with a unique branding opportunity, buyers with original merchandising concepts and media with a glimpse of the fall-winter 2009/2010 product scoop, all in one place."
A partner organisation, Cornerstone Event Productions, is currently accepting product submissions for inclusion in the fashion show. Interested exhibitors can get more information about levels of participation or fill out a submission form at the link below.
