Technical textiles offer growth

The Textile Association of India (TAI) is organising its 64th All India Textile Conference on December 20 and 21, at the Rajeev Gandhi Auditorium in Bhilwara, Rajasthan.
One of the main themes of the conference is technical textiles, which has received attention from the government in the recent past. The technical textiles sector is expected to grow exponentially in the next few years, but the necessary skills and trained labour resources are lacking in India at the moment.
The TAI conference will aim to provide a platform to discuss and debate the way to growth for Indian textile manufacturers who want to move into the technical textile space.
