Schoeller Technologies has issued details of the fabric collection it will launch for the Winter 2010-11 season, with a specific focus on fabrics for outdoor products.

The company says that geometric structures shape the new look. There will be voluminous soft-shells with exciting 3D effects and phosphorescent pinstripes to give what it calls "an elegant, futuristic note".

Volume is paired with structure to form a soft, ergonomic case. Embossed soft-shells that look quilted have a compact, geometric design and feel wonderfully cozy and soft. There will be a Schoeller-WB-400 version in delicate green or dark stone grey, with pleasant insulating jacquard lining, and also a light Schoeller-aeroshell interpretation in vibrant red or pastel grey. The bielastic comfort, with a somewhat architectural 3-D look, sets, the company says "clear accents and provides inspiration for new, more rounded silhouettes".

The Schoeller-WB-400 and Schoeller-WB formula has a slight, bright phosphorescent pinstripe effect on a black background to catch the eye in the dark. And during the day, the functional fabrics put up quite a show with a vivid red lining flashing out from the inside. “Faux plains” in fascinating mini designs also play with light. Two-tone effects in mélange or herringbone glint in Schoeller-WB-400 and Schoeller-WB formula weights in bright red or full-bodied anthracite shades. And with the addition of the waterproof and windproof c_change membrane, the Schoeller-WB formula will ensure
reliable weather protection and an optimum body climate.
