In recent weeks, outdoor brand Patagonia has signed a multiyear agreement with Finnish textile technology group Infinited Fiber, a company that specialises in making a regenerated fibre out of textile waste. Supply of the regenerated fibre that the company calls Infinna is limited, but this new agreement makes Patagonia one of a number of brands with guaranteed access to a share of it. In parallel, the Finnish company will benefit because the deal secures sales of Infinna in the years ahead as it increases production.
