The use of graphene in textiles has grown exponentially in the past 10 years, as more research is done on its unique properties and companies look to develop clothing that incorporates these benefits. UK-based advanced engineering group Versarien believes the sportswear sector is a natural fit, and is researching how graphene can make clothing more durable, moisture wicking and thermally and electrically conductive, among other things.
