Swiss sports brand Kjus has unveiled the second iteration of its men’s Pro 3L golf rainwear collection, which features specially engineered panels that are designed to offer the optimal stretch required when taking part in this sport.
The Pro 3L 2.0 collection includes pants and jackets, with Kjus pointing out that the jacket is available in tailored style for both right- and left-handed players.
The garments have woven jacquard panels built into key areas. Kjus refers to this system as X-Stretch technology. In the jacket, these are located at the shoulder points, shoulder blades and lower back, while in the pants they have been placed in the knees, upper thighs and glutes. The brand has said this gives greater freedom of movement and comfort during the different shots that a golfer plays.
With the collection designed for playing in wet conditions, Kjus has incorporated a Dermizax breathable, windproof and waterproof membrane from Japanese textile manufacturer Toray. The three-layer, fully seam-taped jacket and pants are designed to be able to withstand the most challenging of conditions without restricting movement.
