Growing concern over chemicals in fabrics boosts SGS’s sales

Testing group Intertek has said increasingly stringent chemical testing requirements of fabrics helped it realise a 4% rise in revenues for 2014 to £375.3 million. Growth was strongest in India, Vietnam and Bangladesh, where increasing numbers of Western retailers are asking Intertek to support them as they diversify their sourcing from China....
