Sportswear group Russell Brands is to use Dow Chemical’s patented Silvadur technology in its Coolforce T-Shirt. The product will be one of the first performance apparel products to be treated with this technology and will carry the Intellifresh brand.

Silvadur is a microbial control technology which neutralises the bacteria that can build up on fabric surfaces in order to avoid unpleasant odours, decay, rot and discoloration and keep fabrics fresher for longer.
