Lectra to assist US seat manufacturer

Cutting technology provider Lectra is to help US vehicle seat manufacturer Freedman Seating expand its production capacity in order to meet growing demand for upholstered seating products.

The French company will provide software and cutting solutions for plain and patterned fabric to help Freedman double its production capacity. The Chicago-based organisation manufactures seating and seating-related products for buses, trains, boats, delivery trucks and commercial vehicles.
