Covestro CEO to step down earlier than expected

Polymer manufacturer Covestro has said its chief executive, Patrick Thomas, will retire on May 31, earlier than previously announced.  Mr Thomas had been expected to continue until the end of his contract on September 30.  He will be succeeded as CEO by Dr Markus Steliemann, currently Covestro’s chief commercial officer.
