Consortium will fund up to 40 smart textile projects

A new European Smart Textiles Accelerator programme, SmartX, launched at a meeting in Brussels in May. With co-funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme, a consortium of industry bodies from Belgium, France, Sweden, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Germany will establish a portfolio of up to 40 “trailblazer” smart textiles projects....
